My inspiration of this dish came from my boy who loves to eat chicken rice but he hates those bits and pieces of crashed garlic or ginger that are hidden in between the rice which some of the chicken rice stalls added

Learnt this recipe from my mom where she used to prepare this rice by boiling the lemon juice and then add it to the rice and personally I don't feel any bitter taste in the rice and it taste same as other method which I have share below
Mushroom rice is a delicious recipe, can be done with leftover rice. Add Cooked rice & mix well. IngredientsMushroom - 6~7 ( Thinly sliced)Onions - 2 ( medium, Thinly sliced)Green chili - 1 ( minced) or to tasteCooked rice - 2 cupsMasala powderRed chili powder - 2 tsp or to tasteGaram masala powder - 1/4 tspTurmeric powder -1/8 tspFennel seeds powder - 1/2tspSalt to taste. Stir fry the rice for another 2 ~ 3 minutes
After the rice soaks up the milk add the sago balls( this will thicken the kheer). - Let it all boil for some time until the rice is a little mashed in the milk
