While I was creating my S’mores ChexMix, I had one of those light bulb moments after adding the chocolate to my original Caramel Chex when I noticed that it tastes just like Butter Toffee Crunch, or even Saltine Toffee (or Christmas Crack as so many of you know it by)
My Facebook friend Heather calls this kind of snack crack and I can see why. I choose their Savory Snacktime ChexMix recipe because I wanted to test the fact that they said you can use any version of their Chex and Cheerios cereals
Toss 4 or 5 cups Chex cereal and 1 1/2 cups goldfish crackers in a roasting pan with 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce and 4 tablespoons melted butter. 1 1/2 cups goldfish crackers
In a huge bowl, combine cereal, crackers, garlic toasts and pretzel sticks. They used to make a hot and spicy ChexMix but I haven’t been able to find it for awhile now
Place the cereal, crackers, pretzels and nuts into a large microwave safe bowl. Mix together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt and onion powder
