Add the kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce and sugar – this is your coconut stock. Whenever I know I don’t have the time to plan menus and do a proper shop of fresh groceries (meat/fish/veggies), I order a box from them and it works out quite well
"Paan" means leaf in Konkani and "Polo" means dosa/crepe. Paan Polo is very versatile as it can be eaten for breakfast with jaggery syrup, or for lunch/dinner with nice spicy chicken/ fishcurry
In Konkani, kokum is known as "Sol" which means peel. Even after we have a nice meal consisting of FishCurry and fried fish, we end the meal with this kokum kadhi
