Ingredients – Rice – 1 cup Coconut (grated fresh or fresh frozen) – ¾ cupMustard seeds – ½ tspUllutham paruppu/urad dal – 1 tspKadalai paruppu/channa dal – 1 tspCashew nuts - 1 tbsp (optional)Red chilies – 2Green chilies – 2Curry leaves – fewAsafetida – ¼ tspOil (coconut or vegetable oil) – 1 tbspSalt – to tasteProcedure – Cook rice and let it cool down to room temperature
