I am still absolutely shocked at how quickly this year went by. And now that I have this dough recipe, I can’t wait to make use it over and over again for things like garlic knots, stuffed crescentrolls, baked brie… and all of the other deliciousness that can be made with a pre-made crescent roll dough
yeast ( quick rise). Even now, to this day, when I smell them baking it takes me back to my childhood slopping every last bit of my mash potatoes and gravy up with one of these delicious homemadecrescentrolls
Add the yeast and give one quick stir. The only thing you really need to watch is making sure that the water for your yeast is not too hot, as well as making sure that the hot milk/butter/flour mixture that it is combined with has cooled enough that it will not kill the yeast when they are mixed together
These can be frozen, let come to room temperature before serving and for quick reheating microwave. We love walnuts and we also love good homemaderolls
If you don’t have soup to dip these rolls in and clean the bowl with you can also just gobble these up with some good ole butter and homemade strawberry jam

They might not be quick, but they aren't hard. they kept surprisingly well in an airtight container (homemade bread doesn't usually stay soft very long)
Now don't get me wrong I love the quickcrescent roll version, but these are way better. I think it is because it is the one quick meal I can throw together in a flash
