Add banana flower, onion, green chillies, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, hing, coriander leaves, curry leaves, cumin seeds and fennel seeds to make a thick dough
When ready to make the vadas, mix salt, lightly crushed peppercorns, coconut , diced shallots and roughly chopped cilantro, cumin seeds and curry leaves
Add salt, asafoetida, murungai keerai, onion, fennel seeds, ginger, garlic, onions , curry leaves and the ungrounded dal ( that you have set aside) and mix well
