Instead of baking and icing the entire cake as per what the recipe called for, I baked mine in muffin cups and decorate the top with the proposed icing

Recipe adapted from Table for 2. 160g sugar * i used 100g castor sugar. 1 tbsp ovalette. 1 tsp pandan paste * i used 2 tsp homemade pandan paste. 75g corn oil * i used coconut oil. 2 heaped tbsp pandan kaya * i used 54g of kaya. i used one 7 inch square baking pan. – pour in D and beat batter till thick, fluffy and doubled up *i beat for 10 mins using electric hand whisk. bake for 20 mins each * i baked mine in one 7 inch square pan for 38 mins. 160g sugar * i used. 1 tbsp ovalette. 75g corn oil * i used coconut oil
The cake appeared to be more brown as it due to the honey I used, which is darker in colour. 1tsp ovalette. Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30mins. 1tsp ovalette
Repeat the above process until all batter isused up. I made this cake for the joined Idh celebration, organized by the Muslim committee in our apartment, which was on the very last day of Syawal
