When I was flipping through Anne Byrn's The Cake mix Doctor RETURNS cookbook, one of my most recent purchases at an estate sale, I noticed she had several recipes that called for a spice cake mix
But I wanted to show off the white and brown contrast between the chocolate and the icing. I wanted to transform the chocolate chips, and did exactly that with this chocolate ganache glaze
Added that strange concoction to the batter and whisked everything together. But, I do have to say I did make these adorable Mini Chocolate Donuts with this AMAZING Cream Cheese Glaze
To give the donuts more of a cookie flavor, I used brown sugar in place of white sugar. Just the way to welcome in the weekend, because who wouldn’t want a donut that tastes like a cookie
